Ken Hensley's final album titled "A Little Closer" will be available soon for pre-ordering. The album was recorded already in 2019 and finished in 2020 but has remained unreleased. There are several reasons for this: first it was delayed because of the Covid pandemic and then Hensley's passing in November 2020 put a stop to the process. Legal matters concerning his estate took a long time but now it's being prepared for release. This was originally planned to be Hensley's contribution to the celebration of 50th anniversary of Uriah Heep and that is the reason why it consists mostly of old Uriah Heep classics but the songs have been completely rearranged to acoustic form. The album features Ken Hensley on vocals and acoustic guitar and other musician's including a five-piece string ensemble. The album is an independent release and it will be physical only, it won't be available in streaming services. The quantity of items produced will be defined by demand only. New Lucifer's Friend 5-CD box set will be released in September on Cherry Red Records. The set includes re-releases of albums: Mean Machine (1981), Sumo Grip (that's the correct title, not Sumo as it says at the website) (1994), Live At Sweden Rock 2015, Too Laste To Hate (2016) & Black Moon (2019)
