Peter Goalby auditioned for vocalist job already in 1979 after John Lawton was fired but the group decided on John Sloman instead. On the second try a year and a half later Goalby succeeded. He was a member of Uriah Heep for four years and sings on three studio albums and there are also a few videos from this period. He was forced to leave the band in late 1985 due to problems with his voice.
