John Sloman replaced John Lawton in late 1979. He recorded one album and one single. RECORDINGS LP CONQUEST 1980 7" Think It Over / My Joanna Needs Tuning 1981 Before joining Heep Sloman was in Pulsar (with Greg Dechert) and Lone Star. The line-up disbanded in 1981. After Heep he has worked with Gary Moore etc. and recorded also a couple solo albums lately
